Tamworth’s largest outdoor venue boasts a 750 metre track, camping, stables, training facilities and surrounding buildings and spaces perfect for hosting a variety of events.

At 750m the track offers a fantastic spectator experience, closer to the action as you feel the the adrenaline rush of the horses thundering down the home straight toward the finish. Our track has recently been resurfaced, with the correct cambers, and position markers.

Close to transport, accommodation and the centre of town, we have ample parking, wide open green spaces and multi-faceted venue options to cater to a variety of events, functions and shows.
 

A Historic Venue

Paceway Tamworth is a historic fixture of our town: used in WWII as an army training camp and for a long time known as the Tamworth Showgrounds. In 2017 we evolved to Paceway Tamworth and have been hard at work restoring the grounds and buildings to impressive event spaces.
